Overview

The Three Passes Trek is the most comprehensive and rewarding way to experience the Everest region. By crossing Kongma La (5,535 m), Cho La (5,420 m), and Renjo La (5,465 m), trekkers gain access to hidden valleys, remote glaciers, and viewpoints that the standard routes simply don't reach.

This route combines the best of both the EBC Classic and Gokyo Lakes treks β€” you'll stand at Everest Base Camp, summit Kala Patthar and Gokyo Ri, and walk beside the Ngozumpa Glacier, all in one epic circular journey. Prior trekking experience at altitude is strongly recommended.

Highlights

  • Cross three dramatic high passes: Kongma La, Cho La, and Renjo La
  • Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) and stand on the Khumbu Glacier
  • Sunrise panorama from Kala Patthar (5,545 m)
  • Explore the sacred Gokyo Lakes and summit Gokyo Ri (5,357 m)
  • Remote glacial terrain rarely seen by regular trekkers
  • The most complete Khumbu experience available
