ESTD 2002
Born on a mountain trail, built on a passion for genuine adventure.
Nozomi Treks was founded in 2002 with a single office in Thamel and one carefully crafted route: the Everest Base Camp Classic. The name Nozomi — Japanese for "hope" and "wish" — was chosen as a reminder that every great adventure begins with the courage to dream it.
Word spread slowly but genuinely — through personal recommendations, dog-eared guestbook entries, and the kind of loyalty that only comes from an experience that truly delivers. By 2005 we had expanded into the Annapurna region. By 2010, Upper Mustang and the restricted-area permits. Today, after 25 years on the trail, we offer 25 handpicked experiences across Nepal's most extraordinary landscapes — from 18-day Himalayan circuits to half-day heritage walks through the medieval squares of the Kathmandu Valley.
Through earthquakes, pandemics, and the ever-changing face of travel, one thing has never changed: a genuine love for what we do. We are proud members of the Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN No: 18693/058/059).
